Last updated: September 2026 · Applies to houseofamaezan.org

In short

Use this site respectfully and lawfully. Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable, and card/bank details are handled by Paystack/Stripe directly, never by us. This is a website usage agreement — see our Privacy Policy for data handling and our Safeguarding Policy for how we protect people in our programs.

These terms cover your use of houseofamaezan.org. By using this website, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

House of Amaezan is a community organization (Amaezan Group) headquartered in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, providing free rehabilitation, safe space, and education programs.

2. Eligibility

The forms on this site — contact, volunteer application, and donation — are intended for people old enough to enter into that kind of agreement under the law that applies to them (generally 18 or older, or a legal guardian acting on a minor's behalf). If you're applying to volunteer as a minor, please have a parent or guardian involved in the application.

3. Using this site

You're welcome to browse, share, and link to this site. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse, or impersonate anyone.
  • Attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other visitors' use of it.
  • Submit false information through our forms (contact, volunteer application, or donation) or use them to send spam.
  • Copy or republish substantial parts of the site's content, design, or images for commercial purposes without asking us first.

4. Content & intellectual property

The House of Amaezan name, logo, and the text, photos, and design on this site belong to House of Amaezan (Amaezan Group) unless otherwise noted, and are shared here to inform the public about our work. You're welcome to share links and quote us with attribution; please don't present our name, logo, or content as your own, or use them to imply an endorsement we haven't given.

5. Content and accuracy

We do our best to keep information on this site accurate and current, including program details, contact information, and donation options. Details can change — if anything looks out of date, please let us know rather than relying on it for anything time-sensitive.

6. Donations

Donations made through this site are voluntary contributions to House of Amaezan's programs. Payments are processed by Paystack, Stripe, or by direct bank transfer — we don't collect or store your card details ourselves. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected] and we'll look into it in good faith.

This site links to third parties (Paystack, Stripe, Formspree, our social media pages). We aren't responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those external sites.

8. No warranty & liability

This site is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, House of Amaezan isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.

9. Indemnity

You agree to hold House of Amaezan harmless from any claim arising from your own misuse of this site or breach of these terms. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a disagreement ever arises, we'd ask you to contact us directly first, at [email protected], so we can try to resolve it informally before anything more formal.
